A native of rural Colorado, Rob has been an artist as long as he can remember. He studied and minored in art at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire, and has continued to study through the years around the world. Rob initially worked with oil, acrylic, and casein, then watercolor, and ceramics. A year (2009-10) spent in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bali, and Australia had a great influence on his artwork.
After returning home to Colorado he began exploring the use of textiles and fabrics as a medium to create his art, preferring to use second-hand and found textiles.
Rob likes to incorporate elements of humor into his art work. He balances his work with his day job as a psychiatrist.
